Senior Solar Solutions Manager
Location: London & Southeast
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + benefits (may flex on salary for the right candidate)
Position Type: Full-time | Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Senior Solar Solutions Manager to join a growing renewable energy business based in Surrey.
Working closely with the Technical Director, you will manage Solar PV and Battery Storage projects from survey and design through to installation, commissioning, and handover. The area you will cover will be across London and the Southeast.
This role would suit someone who is an Electrical Designer who has maybe had their own business and now wants to get off the tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate Solar PV and Battery Storage installations
- Review surveys, designs, and quotations
- Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and materials
- Monitor project costs, programmes, and profitability
- Ensure projects meet MCS, BS 7671, and company standards
- Manage DNO applications and project handovers
- Liaise with clients and attend site meetings
- Support the continued growth of the Solar division

About You
- Experience in Solar PV, Battery Storage, or electrical project delivery
- 5+ years' experience in solar stringing system design
- Strong electrical contracting background
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
- Confident managing multiple projects and stakeholders
- Full UK driving licence
- MCS knowledge desirable
- SolarEdge, PV Sol, or Reonic experience desirable

Mandatory Qualifications
Due to end-client requirements, you MUST hold current/in-date:
- Full Electrical Qualification (Gold Card or equivalent)
- Solar PV qualification
- EESS qualification
Qualifications must be through C&G, BPEC, LCL, or EAL. Expired qualifications will not be accepted.
