Private Client Solicitor
Are you an ambitious Private Client solicitor looking for a clear path to leadership?
Whether you are a Partner seeking a lateral move, a Senior Associate ready to step into Partnership, or an established Senior Associate 6 to 12 months away from Partner level, this role offers the platform, autonomy, and strategic input to elevate your career.
The Role Joining a highly regarded team in Worthing/Hove, you will manage a high-quality caseload of complex private client matters for high-net-worth individuals, families, and vulnerable clients. As a senior leader, you will drive department growth, mentor junior talent, and shape strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: Oversee complex wills, LPAs, probate, trusts, estate administration, and high-net-worth estate planning.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, train, and support junior fee earners, paralegals, and trainees to build a strong succession pipeline.
- Strategic Growth: Drive business development, foster key referrer networks, and contribute to department strategy and commercial success.
- Client Excellence: Build lasting relationships with a broad range of clients, delivering empathetic, high-quality, and tailored legal advice.

What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 7+ years PQE as a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with deep technical expertise in private client law (STEP qualification is advantageous).
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage, support, and inspire colleagues in a collaborative team setting.
- Commercial Drive: Strong networking skills with a proactive approach to generating new business and building lasting client relationships.
- Client Focus: Exceptional communication skills, combining technical precision with empathy and tact.
