An outstanding opportunity to shape the future of a long-established Scottish law firm

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Solicitor or Associate to join our long-established and highly respected High Street practice in the heart of Kinross.

With deep roots in the local community and a reputation built over many decades, our firm has developed lasting relationships with generations of clients. We pride ourselves on delivering trusted, practical legal advice with a personal approach, while maintaining a modern outlook on the future of the practice.

This is much more than a senior fee-earning role. It is an exceptional opportunity for a solicitor who is looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear and early pathway to Director level. We are looking for someone who wants to play a genuine leadership role, influence the strategic direction of the firm and help shape its next chapter.

The Role

You will undertake a varied and interesting caseload typical of a successful High Street practice, including:

  • Residential and commercial property transactions
  • Wills, Powers of Attorney and estate planning
  • Executries and estate administration
  • General private client matters
  • Supporting and developing longstanding client relationships
  • Contributing to the future growth and development of the firm

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
