Senior Solicitor - Employment
Our client is seeking an experienced employment solicitor to support the continued growth of its Belfast practice. You will advise employers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, taking significant responsibility for client work and developing strong relationships with businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions.
Based in Belfast, the role follows a hybrid working pattern, combining the flexibility of working remotely with opportunities to collaborate in person with colleagues and clients.

The Role:
- Advise employers on complex employment and employee relations matters.
- Manage tribunal litigation, including discrimination, unfair dismissal, and whistleblowing claims.
- Advise on disciplinary and grievance processes, workplace investigations, restructurings, redundancy programs, and TUPE transfers.
- Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
- Deliver client training, support junior colleagues, and contribute to business development.
The Person:
- A qualified solicitor with 5 to 8 years' post-qualification experience and a strong employment law background.
- Able to manage matters independently and advise employers on sensitive, complex issues.
- Brings strong technical knowledge, commercial judgment, and excellent communication skills.
- Northern Ireland employment law experience is particularly relevant; experience or qualification in England and Wales or the Republic of Ireland would be an advantage.
