Senior Associate / Legal Director (Private Client)
Are you an ambitious Private Client solicitor looking for a clear, structured route to Partnership?
We are seeking a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join a highly prestigious Private Client team in Gloucestershire. Working alongside an acclaimed Head of Department, this key appointment offers the immediate opportunity to handle high-value work.
The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Client Advisory: Advise high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and multi-generational families on complex estate planning, tax structuring, wills, LPAs, trusts, and probate administration.
- Team Integration: Work directly beneath the Head of Department, providing senior-level support on key client accounts and helping mentor junior fee earners.
- Practice Growth: Engage in targeted business development and nurture professional referral networks across Gloucestershire and the surrounding regions.

What You’ll Bring
- Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) with 5+ years’ PQE in private client law.
- Technical & Professional Accreditations: STEP qualification is highly favoured, alongside a strong track record handling complex private wealth, tax, and trust planning matters.
- Leadership Potential: A collaborative, supportive approach with the ambition to take on departmental management—or the proven technical pedigree of a career Legal Director.
- Client Care: Exceptional interpersonal skills, blending technical precision with empathy, diplomacy, and strong commercial awareness.
