Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our consultancy team in the UK. This role is pivotal in driving the design and implementation of innovative cloud solutions for our clients, particularly in the financial sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in architecture and a proven track record in leading solution architecture initiatives, ensuring that our clients successfully migrate their on-premise solutions to the cloud while leveraging Microsoft Services such as Azure and M365.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Manage the migration of on-premise solutions to cloud environments, focusing on Microsoft Azure and M365.
- Develop and maintain high-level designs (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD) for technical approval boards.
- Capture design requirements from business users and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial systems, including TMS and ERP solutions.
- Utilise SQL and Oracle databases, as well as tools like Fabric, Power BI, and Power Apps, to enhance solution capabilities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and consultants within the team.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve solution offerings.

Qualifications
- Over 10 years of experience as an Architect, with at least 3 years in a lead Solution Architect role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Services, particularly Azure and M365.
- Proven experience in migrating on-premise solutions to cloud environments.
- Familiarity with SQL and Oracle databases, as well as tools such as Fabric, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Experience in implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working in global corporate environments, particularly within the financial sector.
- Ability to create and present high-level designs (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD) for technical approval.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to capture and articulate design requirements effectively.
- Knowledge of TOGAF or other architecture frameworks is highly desirable.
