Senior Solution Architect
Senior Solution Architect (upto 3) - Financial Services Transformation
Contract | Initial 6 Months | Outside IR35 (TBC) | Hybrid
We're working on behalf of a well-established organisation embarking on a major transformation programme and are looking to speak with experienced Senior Solution Architects who thrive in large-scale, complex environments.
This is an opportunity to join a high-profile programme where you'll play a key role in shaping enterprise solutions, influencing technical direction, and working alongside senior stakeholders to deliver meaningful change.
We're keen to hear from Solution Architects who can demonstrate:
- Extensive experience operating as a Senior Solution Architect within large enterprise environments.
- A strong background delivering complex transformation programmes.
- Previous experience within Financial Services, Banking or Building Societies.
- The ability to engage and influence stakeholders across both business and technical teams.
- A broad understanding of enterprise technology, application architecture and integration.
- Experience designing scalable, secure and resilient solutions.
- A track record of working across the full project lifecycle.

Desirable experience
Whilst not essential, we'd be particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Power Platform
- TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks
- Payments architecture (FPS, CHAPS, BACS, Cards, Direct Debits)
- Data Architecture
- Application Architecture
The role
You'll be responsible for translating business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring architectural alignment across multiple workstreams and helping to shape the future technology landscape.

Working closely with fellow architects, technical teams and programme stakeholders, you'll provide architectural leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, balancing business outcomes with technical best practice.
