Senior Solution Architect

Senior Solution Architect acts as a member of on-site/remote project teams. Uses in-depth knowledge of customer business and processes to design and implement Blue Yonder solutions on medium to large supply chain transformation programs. Understands how the Blue Yonder solutions can support customer business.

Job Description

As a Solution Architect you will be:

  • Leading implementation of Blue Yonder products, including ownership of end-to-end solution design
  • Working with customer business and IT teams during all project phases
  • Providing leadership to functional team during implementation cycle
  • Serving as a functional and industry expert and participating in key meetings between Project Manager, key customer contacts, and customer users
  • Working closely with Product Management Department regarding specific trends for future product functionality/enhancements
  • Providing mentorship to junior associates within Blue Yonder organization
  • Working with the pre-sales team to assess workload on a given project and recommend roles

Knowledge and Skills we are looking for:

Essential:

  • +8 years of industry experience in Supply Chain/Retail industry (e.g. Softline, Grocery, Wholesale, FMCG, CPG, etc.)
  • Great understanding of the overall planning, retail processes (demand management, supply chain optimization, replenishment/fulfilment, category management, assortment optimization)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience in using, implementing, or supporting modern Supply Chain applications (BlueYonder/i2/Manugistics, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Infor, Logility, o9, Quintiq, or similar planning solution)
  • Business level fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively across Europe is required
  • Right to live and work in the European Union

Desirable:

  • Fluency in additional European languages (German, French)
  • Machine Learning & Data Science concept familiarity
  • Experience in supply chain software implementation
  • Agile knowledge
  • Python and SQL elementary skills
