Job Description

Experian's Consumer Information Services, Analytics, Decisioning Software, and Identity and Fraud division are looking for a Senior Solutions Analyst. You will be responsible for the effective engineering of capability within the Decisioning Solutions content reuse, off-the-shelf, and prefabricated solution (PCCA) space, working closely with other engineering team members in the team, and across wider build and development functions.

Senior Solutions Analysts are pivotal in the design, maintenance and execution of the product backlog and concurrently driving complexity out of client System Integration. Decisioning Engineering's goal, and the role every Senior Solutions Analyst must play is transforming time and cost to deliver.

This is a Hybrid, Nottingham based role (40% in the office) reporting to the Senior Client Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Working within Decisioning Solutions (DS) Engineering you will be a senior member of one of our regional engineering teams, delivering high quality proof-of-concept, template, and accelerator content that will be used by our System Integration Teams to deliver effective integrated Client Solutions.
  • Responsible for driving the ease of integration across the System Integration Teams to reduce complexity, time to deliver, cost and risk whilst improving customer satisfaction. Working with the Global Engineering teams (who build the core products) and by engineering effective and efficient localised solutions.
  • Focus on cloud cost optimisation to ensure best practice is adopted across all cloud based client system integrations, driving down cost to serve.
  • Offer expert consultancy for Pre-Sales, System Integration Teams, Service Support and Risk Management.
  • You will lead junior members of our delivery "fireteams", steering analysts, project managers, implementers, developers and testers maximising the most appropriate delivery model for the work (Waterfall, Agile etc).
  • Lead deliveries ensuring that they meet agreed timelines (proactively managing any issue and risks that arise) and cost.
  • You will build great relationships while consulting with our Global Engineering (ESS), Product Management, Customer Value Office, Go-to-Market (GTM), Product Capability, Systems Integration, Security, Audit and Risk teams to drive efficient / effective processes and outcomes.
  • You will occasionally be responsibility for maintaining good relationships with our competitors, partners, clients to enable new capability to be engineered effectively.

Qualifications

  • Expert understanding of Decisioning Solution products and how they can be integrated and deployed to clients.
  • Experience leading development, build, technical authorship, project management and consultative/delivery teams in a financial services environment.
  • Understanding of PowerCurve
  • Project Management experience in a client facing environment.
  • Demonstratable knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies and best practice and experience in a scaled agile delivery environment
  • Commercial acumen in accordance with contracted commitments.
  • Experience balancing competing projects and providing thought leadership in areas that may be new to stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and coaching multi-disciplinary teams, developing team members, and supporting them to grow.
