Senior Solutions Architect
Location: Bristol (90% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £90-£93 per hour
IR35: Inside IR35
Clearance: Active DV Clearance Required
We're supporting a leading public sector, national security programme seeking an experienced DV Cleared Senior Solutions Architect to join a high-profile, security-sensitive project based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering secure, large-scale technology solutions within a highly classified environment.
The Role
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will act as the technical authority across complex programmes, defining solution architectures that balance customer requirements, enterprise strategy and secure-by-design principles. You will engage with senior stakeholders, lead technical decision-making and help drive innovation across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture across large-scale and multi-project programmes.
- Define robust, secure and scalable technology architectures.
- Conduct technical reviews, trade-off assessments and risk analysis.
- Support technology roadmaps and strategic planning activities.
- Engage with customers, technical boards and senior stakeholders.
- Mentor architects and engineers across the wider technical community.
- Support bid activity, solution strategy and proposal development.

Essential Experience
- Proven background delivering Solution Architecture across infrastructure, applications, networking, cloud and data environments.
- Experience working with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, MODAF or NAF.
- Strong understanding of secure system design and cyber security principles.
- Experience within Agile and/or SAFe delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Active UKSV DV Clearance.
