Key Responsibilities
- Define and support MDM architecture and strategy across the programme.
- Assess and recommend commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) MDM products where appropriate, and design bespoke MDM solutions where not.
- Lead MDM integration and implementation design across feature teams.
- Design real-time data product patterns and ensure alignment with wider data architecture.
- Provide architectural oversight and design assurance across the data product lifecycle — from ODP selection through build, testing, governance and go-live.
- Work closely with engineering leads to ensure designs are practical, deliverable and consistent with enterprise standards.
- Ensure solutions comply with applicable security, governance and architecture standards.

Required Skills & Experience

- Deep expertise in data architecture, including MDM strategy, solution selection, integration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of GCP or comparable cloud data platforms.
- Practical familiarity with dbt, Python and SQL-based data engineering (architecture-level, not necessarily daily hands-on coding).
- Experience designing real-time data product patterns.
- Track record operating in large, regulated enterprise environments (financial services experience is a strong plus, not mandatory).
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills — able to work directly with delivery teams, not just produce documents.
- Ready to mobilise quickly; profiles requiring extended notice periods are unlikely to be considered
