About the role

Have you got a knack for explaining technical concepts? Do you want to work closely with big-name companies to solve some of their toughest problems, and stay with them long after the contract is signed? We're looking for a Senior Solutions Architect who loves teaching people, solving problems, and making sure our customers get real value from RudderStack. You'd be joining a team of talented engineers who love open source, support their community, and want to make people's lives easier. We care deeply about our users and partners, and we judge ourselves on how well we serve them.

You'll work alongside our Customer Success Managers as the technical lead on our EMEA accounts. The CSM owns the relationship and you own the technical side, and together you make sure every customer is successful with their RudderStack implementation. You'll be the technical face of RudderStack for these customers: the person they trust for answers, guidance, and honest advice. We get excited talking to engineers, product managers, and growth marketers, and we also know how to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders. We're here to make our customers' lives easier by giving them the right solutions for their customer data strategy and architecture.

This role is remote first and can be based anywhere in the UK or EMEA (#LI-Remote). You'll occasionally travel to customer sites for relationship building, onboardings, and workshops. It won't happen often, but expect a few trips a year.

What you'll do

  • Partner with CSMs as the technical lead on a portfolio of EMEA accounts, owning their technical success from onboarding onwards.
  • Lead customer onboarding, making sure new customers are set up properly and see value quickly.
  • Design and manage migration strategies (for example from Segment, mParticle, GA4, or in-house pipelines) and other implementation plans, and guide customers through them.
  • Be the go-to person for customers' technical questions across the platform, from SDKs and event streaming to warehouses, reverse ETL, and identity resolution.
  • Run training sessions on different parts of the product, tailored to each customer's team and use case.
  • Take the initiative to spot gaps in how customers use the platform, then show them, and demo, how features they aren't using yet can solve their problems and add value.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on their customer data strategy and architecture design.
  • Gather customer feedback and share it with our Product and Engineering teams, advocating for customer interests to help shape RudderStack's roadmap.
  • Develop subject matter expertise on the customer data landscape and RudderStack's role within it.
  • Occasionally run onsite sessions with customers for relationship building, onboardings, and workshops.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical incidents and work closely with Engineering and Support to drive resolutions for critical customer issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
