Description
GTM Hero is building the best Go-To-Market talent network. We place senior practitioners from Solution Engineers, GTM executives (CROs/CMOs/CCOs), and other pre-sales and post-sales operators into B2B SaaS companies that need specialised expertise without the full-time overhead.
This role is for experienced Solution Engineers who want to own their time, work with outstanding people, and operate across a range of high-growth SaaS businesses from pre-seed founder-led companies to Series D.
This is self-employed, fractional work, not a salaried position. You'll operate as an independent consultant, securing engagements through GTM Hero rather than being hired as an employee. You will be embedded as the pre-sales lead across 1 to 3 client engagements, matched by vertical, deal stage, and language. Every consultant in our network is backed by GTM Hero's AI demo automation suite, a deep methodology library, and a community of the sharpest GTM minds in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Own the full pre-sales motion from discovery through technical close
- Run structured discovery that surfaces real pain, real stakeholders, and the real decision process
- Design and deliver scenario-based, persona-mapped demonstrations linked to business outcomes
- Scope and manage Proofs of Concept end-to-end, identifying success criteria, timelines, and mutual actions
- Build and develop technical champions and create economic buyer access
- Coach MEDDPICC qualification gaps with AEs directly on live deals
- Lead RFP responses, architecture reviews, and security discussions
- Leverage GTM Hero's bespoke AI demo automation tooling to eliminate prep time and scale output

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
