Senior Solutions Engineer – EMEA
Location: UK Remote
Travel: Up to 60% across the UK and EMEA
Compensation: Generous package reflecting seniority, technical expertise, and scope

Take your telecoms and networking expertise into a highly visible, customer-facing role, shaping solutions and leading technical conversations with customers and partners across the UK and EMEA. This is not a back-office engineering position; strong customer presence is essential and previous pre-sales experience would be highly advantageous.
The Opportunity
Join a globally established specialist technology business delivering high-performance solutions to government agencies, communications providers, and systems integrators worldwide.
You will play a key role in the technical sales process, working with sales, product, and delivery teams to understand customer challenges, develop the right architecture, and demonstrate the value of the solution.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead technical discovery and solution design, translating complex customer requirements into scalable architectures.
- Support the technical sales cycle across presentations, demonstrations, POCs, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, confidently presenting and recommending solutions.
- Design solutions across telecoms environments, drawing on 4G/LTE, 5G, IP networking, and mobile network architecture expertise.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet technical and customer requirements.
What You'll Bring
- Current UK Government security clearance – essential.
- 7+ years' experience in solutions engineering, network engineering, solution architecture, or a related telecoms role.
- Strong knowledge of 4G/LTE, 5G, IP networking, mobile core networks, telecom signalling/protocols, and network architecture.
- Proven customer-facing experience – essential, with the confidence to lead technical discovery, gather requirements, present complex solutions, and engage senior customer stakeholders.
- Previous pre-sales or sales engineering experience – highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, combining technical depth with commercial awareness.
- Experience within government, defence, intelligence, public safety, telecom operators, or other secure/mission-critical environments would be advantageous.
- Lawful intelligence experience is not essential; relevant telecoms expertise is the priority.
