About Andela
At Andela, we know brilliance is evenly distributed around the world, but opportunity is not. For over 10 years, Andela has connected customers with top global, remote technical talent from over 135 countries, the majority residing in emerging markets across Africa and Latin America. As one of the world's largest talent marketplaces, Andela gives companies the flexibility to deploy qualified technologists fast — across Application Development, AI, Cloud & DevOps, and Data Engineering. Andela Talent Cloud (ATC) is our platform for managing the complete global talent lifecycle.
We're at the intersection of two industry transformations — one in staffing and hiring, one in software development — both accelerated by AI. We're looking for a builder who wants to own the platform at the center of it.
About the Role
Andela is building a modern Sales Engineering function that helps customers solve complex technology and organizational challenges across our three primary offerings:
- Talent Solutions - specialized technical expertise that works as part of the customer’s team.
- AI Solutions - managed delivery and repeatable solutions where Andela owns defined outcomes.
- Learning & Assessment Solutions - assessing, training, and upskilling customer teams.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will serve as a technical partner to customers, Sales, and Delivery. You'll lead discovery, translate ambiguous business needs into technical and delivery requirements, shape solutions across Andela's portfolio, and help ensure that what we sell can be successfully delivered.
Sales Engineering also helps improve how Andela sells. The team is developing new approaches to technical qualification, AI-assisted assessment, solution design, demonstrations, and sales tooling. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to those systems and practices while working directly on some of Andela's most complex customer opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This reflects the department's broader mandate to support opportunities across Talent Solutions, AI Solutions, and Learning & Assessment Solutions rather than operating within a single offering.

- Shape customer solutions by developing initial recommendations around architecture, scope, delivery model, team structure, technical requirements, timelines, risks, and dependencies.

- Bring technical depth to the sales process, including architecture discussions, technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, prototypes, proposals, and RFPs.
- Partner closely with Delivery and specialist teams to validate proposed approaches and ensure opportunities are well-defined before commitments are made.

- Improve how Andela sells by turning field experience into reusable playbooks, technical content, solution patterns, and better sales-to-delivery processes.
