At The Twenty Two, we are looking for a Senior Sommelier to join our Food & Beverage team, delivering world-class wine service while creating memorable dining experiences for our guests and members.

The Role

As a Senior Sommelier, You Will

  • Deliver exceptional wine service, providing expert recommendations and creating memorable experiences for every guest
  • Manage and maintain the wine programme, ensuring the highest standards of presentation, storage, and stock control
  • Build strong relationships with guests, confidently guiding them through the wine list and pairing selections with our menus
  • Support, coach, and inspire the Sommelier and Restaurant teams, sharing your knowledge and passion for wine
  • Work closely with the Head Sommelier, Restaurant Management, and Kitchen teams to develop wine pairings and enhance the overall guest experience
  • Assist with wine ordering, cellar organisation, inventory management, and supplier relationships
  • Represent The Twenty Two brand with confidence, professionalism, and exceptional attention to detail at all times

About Us

About You

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about excellence and culture.

You Will Have

  • Previous experience as a Senior Sommelier or Sommelier within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or private members’ club
  • Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and beverages, with a recognised wine qualification (WSET Level 3 or above preferred)
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalised wine service
  • Experience supporting and developing colleagues within a high-performing hospitality team
  • Strong organisational and cellar management skills, with experience of stock control and inventory
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with guests and make tailored recommendations
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Outstanding attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning

Salary: Up to £45,800
