The Role
Join one of the City of London’s premier corporate and prestigious events sites as a Senior Sous Chef. We are looking for a talented, organized, and driven culinary leader to manage daily kitchen operations and deliver high-end, bespoke menus for an exclusive corporate clientele.
The Details
- Salary: £44,000 per annum
- Location: City of London
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mainly daytime service, with occasional flexibility required for evening events)
- Volume: Catering up to 150 covers daily for lunch services alongside high-profile bespoke events.
- Team: Working closely in a tight-knit team alongside the Head Chef, a Sous Chef, and 1 Kitchen Porter

Key Responsibilities
- As a Senior Sous Chef you will oversee daily operations, focusing on the preparation and smooth execution of high-quality, bespoke menus for both daily dining and premium hospitality functions.
- Support the Head Chef in leading and managing the kitchen team to ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence.
- Maintain strict food safety, kitchen hygiene, and allergen compliance across all sections.
- Step up to lead the kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring consistency, precision, and efficiency.
