SENIOR SOUS CHEF

Location: London
Contract: Full-time (45 hours per week); flexible hours

ABOUT US

We create bright, welcoming neighbourhood restaurants — open all day, every day. Our restaurants embody the Australian spirit that Bill Granger made known around the world: easy-going generous excellence. Our food makes people feel good; it’s full of flavour, goodness and vitality. We source the best possible ingredients with a sunny, colourful lightness and the emotional comfort of food is as important to us as how it looks and tastes.

As a family-owned restaurant group still led by its founding core, that is constantly evolving and developing, we value all employees as respected individuals and foster diversity and inclusion, with everyone given a chance to share their voice and ideas. People stay with us and grow with us, many for over a decade. Sustainability is considered in everything we do.

THE ROLE

This is a full-time position based across our London restaurants. As Senior Sous Chef, you’ll help lead the kitchen day to day — ensuring every service runs smoothly, every plate looks beautiful and every guest leaves feeling good. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Group Head Chef, supporting with daily operations, ordering and rota management. You’ll play a key role in leading and inspiring the team, bringing energy and calm to even the busiest services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
