Senior Sous Chef | Michelin-Starred Spanish Fine Dining Restaurant

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Central London

Job Type: Full Time

Organic Recruitment is proud to be representing one of London's most highly regarded Michelin-starred restaurants in the search for an exceptional Senior Sous Chef.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning, critically acclaimed kitchen led by an inspiring Head Chef, working with outstanding seasonal produce and authentic Spanish cooking techniques. The restaurant has built an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences and continues to attract both loyal clientele and international acclaim.

The role

As Senior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in delivering consistently outstanding food and maintaining the highest culinary standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading service and ensuring exceptional quality and consistency
  • Supporting menu development using the very best seasonal produce
  • Managing kitchen operations including stock control, ordering and food costs
  • Training, mentoring and developing the kitchen brigade
  • Creating staff rotas and supporting labour management
  • Maintaining the highest food safety and health & safety standards
  • Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence

About you:

We're looking for an ambitious chef who is passionate about premium ingredients and refined cooking.

You will have:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or accomplished Sous Chef within a high-quality restaurant
  • Michelin-starred experience preferred, although candidates from leading 3 AA Rosette or equivalent fine dining backgrounds will also be considered
  • Excellent knowledge of seasonal produce and modern cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing junior chefs
  • A calm, organised approach during busy services
  • High standards of food quality, presentation and attention to detail
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and kitchen compliance
