Senior Sous Chef
Are you an experienced chef ready to take the next step in your career? Passionate about creating exceptional food using the very best seasonal ingredients and leading a talented team in a fast-paced events environment?
We're looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Supporting the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding dining experiences across our events, developing exciting menus, nurturing culinary talent, and helping to showcase the very best of Sussex produce.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working as a Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef, or in a similar leadership role within a high-quality kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of fresh ingredients, food preparation and service standards.
- A passion for creating innovative, seasonal dishes.
- Experience leading, motivating and developing a kitchen team.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- A calm, proactive approach and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery and a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
