A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef to join a premium private members club in Central London, with a focus on events-led hospitality and exceptional dining.
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a prestigious private members club in Central London. This is an events-led, high-end hospitality operation with multiple kitchens and event spaces. The role involves supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food across club dining, public café service, and large-scale events. This would suit a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef from an events-led or high-end hospitality background who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Operation
- Premium private members club with multiple restaurants.
- Two open kitchens.
- Brigade of approximately 30 chefs.
- Events-led operation: canapés, bowl food, private dining.
- Strong focus on seasonality and British produce.
- Mediterranean-style kitchen offering elegant sharing plates.

The Senior Sous Chef / Sous Chef Role
- Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen brigade.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality food across all outlets and events.
- Manage ordering, stock control, food safety, and compliance.
- Drive team development, training, and performance.
- Step up and run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
- Oversee event delivery including canapés, bowl food, and private dining.
The Ideal Senior Sous Chef / Sous Chef
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in an events-led or high-end hospitality environment.
- Experience with canapés, bowl food, private dining, and events.
- Strong communication skills: works across multiple kitchens and event spaces.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Calm, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine interest in the club culture and wider offering.
