This summer, we opened the doors to our fully re-imagined hotel, The Imperial – a new lifestyle offering within our portfolio. With 357 bedrooms, multiple dining venues, a workout studio. Arcus is the new destination rooftop bar - this will be a new beacon, bang in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.
About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and confident Senior Sous Chef to act as second in command within our kitchen operation. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to lead the brigade, maintain exceptional food standards and support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the Head Chef in leading and managing the kitchen operation.
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and HACCP standards across all sections.
- Contribute to seasonal menu development, costing and food cost control.
- Supervise kitchen rotas, discipline, training and team performance.
- Ensure hygiene, safety, equipment and stock standards are upheld.

Who You Are
- An experienced Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up.
- Calm under pressure with excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, allergens and kitchen operations.
