About the Role
Could you work as part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to improving the health of people with diabetes across Tayside? The Nutrition and Dietetic Service in Tayside are seeking to recruit a dietitian to work within our specialist diabetes team.
The postholder will work as a member of the specialist Tayside Dietetic Diabetes Team and will provide a clinical service in secondary care for people in Tayside living with diabetes. The post holder will be expected to work closely with the multi-disciplinary diabetes team taking a pro-active approach in the clinical care of patients, service improvement and pathway development. The primary clinical focus of the post will be on patients with type 1 diabetes requiring insulin therapy including hybrid closed loop systems.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to demonstrate good team working, leadership, time management
- Ability to work autonomously
- Significant experience of working in a diabetes team as specialist dietitian
- Experience of working with a complex case load and hybrid closed loop systems
