Responsibilities

Position Purpose: The Global Events programme is a critical component of StoneX Group Inc.’s overall branding and marketing strategy. Reporting to the Director of EMEA Events. This role is responsible for overseeing lead-capture initiatives, PR strategy, and post-event communications across the EMEA region. You will also collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and maintain event branding, ensuring consistency and adherence to corporate guidelines.

Primary Duties:

  • Develop and implement promotional plans and timelines for each event
  • Lead lead-capture initiatives and reporting for the EMEA events team, supporting the broader team in executing these initiatives effectively
  • Work with relevant internal teams to deliver lead tracking and reporting for EMEA events
  • Manage post-event communication strategy and approach for EMEA events to maximise engagement and ROI
  • Manage internal review processes for event marketing deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements
  • Act as a key intermediary between marketing and event stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
  • Oversee final proofing and compliance approval processes for all event marketing deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to corporate branding guidelines at all times
  • Coordinate the launch of event promotions through multiple channels, including:
    • Social media
    • Email marketing
    • Website content
  • Oversee the building and testing of registration sites using Cvent, ensuring accuracy and functionality
  • Coordinate with third-party event and tradeshow organisers to manage company participation and sponsorships, ensuring all deliverables are executed on time
  • Responsible for ensuring all agreed processes are followed within EMEA events
  • Align marketing efforts for EMEA departments, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with vendors to fulfil the marketing needs of the business
  • Travel as required to support in-person events (both national and international)

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in marketing and/or event planning
  • Experience with WebEx
  • Experience with On24
  • Experience with Dynamics
  • Experience with Cvent
  • Excellent marketing and project management skills as evidenced by previous job experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in interpersonal communications and working well within a team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, manage a variety of projects and work effectively with a variety of individuals, vendors, businesses, etc.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • Knowledge of financial services
  • Experience with Cvent or other event registration platforms

Education / Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • Additional Marketing-related qualifications beneficial but not required

Working Environment:

Hybrid role, 4 days in-office.
