Job Description
As a trusted partner to Directors, Heads of Function and budget owners, you will connect financial performance with operational priorities. You will thrive in a fast-moving environment, build strong relationships and use curiosity, clarity and constructive challenge to improve performance.
Principal Accountabilities
Business Partnering
- Be the trusted finance partner for our Business Performance functions, turning data into clear insight and action for the functions that drive our culture, people performance, environment, business operations and finance.
- Bring performance to life by explaining results, trends, risks and opportunities in a way that resonates with stakeholders.
- Shape budgets, forecasts and long-term plans, challenging assumptions and keeping teams focused on their objectives.
- Evaluate projects and investment proposals, helping the business make confident, value-led decisions.
- Own management charges and explain cost drivers, supplier relationships and opportunities to improve predictability.
- Protect performance through rigorous review of the Formula One Financial Regulations, balancing compliance, accuracy and value for money.
- Champion return on investment and work across Finance to simplify processes and raise the quality of insight.
- Support a complete and accurate month-end close, working closely with the wider Finance team.

- Support continuous improvement across the finance business partnering team and wider function.

Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-qualified or newly qualified.
- Excellent Excel and wider digital skills; Power BI experience is desirable.
- A sharp analytical mind, strong attention to detail and the curiosity to understand what sits behind the numbers.
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders, translating complexity into clear recommendations.
- The organisation and resilience to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for learning and improvement.
