Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our excellent Adult Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Physiotherapy team here at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. This post is a static, specialist role, within our supra-regional Cystic Fibrosis Centre based across St James’s University Hospital and Seacroft Hospital. As a static member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment, management and treatment of a range of patients with chronic suppurative lung disease. This caseload includes Cystic Fibrosis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia and Bronchiectasis in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Due to the changing landscape of Cystic Fibrosis management, MSK experience is desirable.
You will be part of a supportive and highly experienced team who will empower you to manage your own caseload and deliver high-quality care to these complex patient groups.
A flexible and pro-active approach is essential for this post as are excellent communication and team working skills. Key responsibilities will include the education and development of staff and students, audit, research and clinical effectiveness as well as service review and evaluation. You must be organised, flexible and able to empower others. You will work closely with your Senior Team and have the opportunity to assist in operational management and service improvement.
This is a cross-site role and requires the successful applicant to have the ability to travel between St James’s University Hospital and Seacroft Hospital.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
