Senior Specialist, Production Services Application Support Analyst

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Production Services Application Support Analyst to join our team. This role is located in Manchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Ensure the stability, resiliency, and availability of critical Digital Assets production platforms by proactively monitoring system health, identifying risks, and driving operational excellence.
  • Act as a senior technical partner to Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Product teams to improve platform reliability and operational readiness.
  • Lead technical coordination during major incidents, helping drive rapid diagnosis, recovery, stakeholder communication, and root cause remediation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, observability, service reliability, operational efficiency, and reduction of manual processes.
  • Evaluate production risks associated with application releases, infrastructure changes, and platform enhancements to ensure safe and controlled implementation.
  • Analyze recurring incidents and operational trends to identify opportunities for resiliency improvements and long-term risk reduction.
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity, capacity planning, and platform resiliency initiatives across Digital Assets services.
  • Contribute to the development of operational standards, runbooks, monitoring strategies, and best practices that strengthen the overall Production Services discipline.
  • Partner with global support teams to provide seamless 24x7 operational coverage for business-critical services and client-facing platforms.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience supporting complex, large-scale production environments within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience in incident, problem, change, and production support management, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
  • Understanding of enterprise application architecture, distributed systems, cloud technologies, middleware, databases, and infrastructure components.
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, automation, and operational tooling used to support highly available production platforms.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to assess operational risk, challenge assumptions, and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple technology and business teams.
  • Strong focus on operational excellence, client outcomes, continuous improvement, and disciplined risk management.
  • Experience supporting financial technology platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, containerized environments, SRE practices, and modern automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, SRE, DevOps, or technology risk management practices.
  • Experience supporting globally distributed production environments operating in a 24x7 support model.

  • Experience supporting financial technology platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies, containerized environments, SRE practices, and modern automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, SRE, DevOps, or technology risk management practices.
  • Experience supporting globally distributed production environments operating in a 24x7 support model.
