📍London, United Kingdom – Hybrid (3 days per week in-office – St James Park)

About you 👤

  • Proven expertise in direct sourcing and talent mapping, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, social media platforms, referrals, and other sourcing channels to identify and attract high-quality talent.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence at all levels. Ability to coach, advise, and challenge hiring managers to support effective hiring decisions and recruitment best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex recruitment markets, collaborate across borders and manage a busy workload, applying sound judgement when assessing candidates against role requirements, skills, competencies, and organisational fit.
  • Strong understanding of the Life Sciences industry, including key functions, talent markets, and the skills and capabilities required across scientific, technical, and business disciplines.
  • Proficient in the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment technologies, and online sourcing tools, with the ability to analyse and interpret recruitment data and metrics.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, coupled with an agile and adaptable mindset, ensuring compliance and consistency throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

About the role 🧭

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering a high-quality end-to-end recruitment service and exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience, partnering with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to attract and hire top talent. Combining recruitment expertise, market knowledge, and a customer-focused approach, the successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the business, using data-driven insights and proactive sourcing strategies to drive successful hiring outcomes across functions and geographies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities 📌

  • Partner with hiring managers to lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including vacancy advertising, candidate sourcing and screening, shortlist creation, interview coordination, interviewer coaching, candidate assessment, offer management, and post-interview feedback.
  • Collaborate with HR Country Leads and business stakeholders to facilitate effective hiring decisions, ensure compliance with local recruitment requirements, and continually optimise the hiring manager experience.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by providing recruitment expertise, market insights, best practice guidance, and support with applicant tracking systems (ATS) to deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Produce and analyse recruitment data, metrics, and KPIs to track hiring performance against workforce plans, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, maintaining regular communication and timely feedback.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment partners, agencies, and job boards to maximise hiring outcomes and control recruitment costs.
