Splunk Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Splunk Engineer to manage and support an enterprise Splunk environment across multiple clusters and 170+ servers. The role will focus on platform administration, upgrades, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, and performance optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Splunk Enterprise across distributed and clustered environments.
- Perform Splunk upgrades, patching, deployments, and configuration changes across 170+ servers.
- Manage data onboarding, ingestion, forwarders, indexers, and search heads.
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and optimise Splunk performance and availability.
- Implement and maintain security, access controls, compliance, and data integrity.
- Support Splunk users and resolve platform-related incidents and operational issues.
- Maintain documentation and follow change, incident, and operational management processes.

- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise administration.
- Experience with Indexer Clusters, Search Head Clusters, Forwarders, and distributed Splunk architectures.
- Proven experience in Splunk upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Good understanding of Splunk security, RBAC, data ingestion, and platform operations.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
