Our client, a leading sustainability-focused events business is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive sponsorship revenue across a successful international apparel and textiles conference portfolio.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established, high-growth event series, develop partnerships with senior industry leaders, and work at the centre of sustainability transformation within the global fashion sector.

The Role

The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end sponsorship sales process across multiple annual events, building partnerships with brands, solution providers, NGOs, and industry stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving sponsorship revenue through prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Growing the portfolio through new business acquisition and account expansion.
  • Building relationships with senior sustainability, fashion, and supply chain leaders.
  • Creating bespoke annual partnerships across events, content, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Managing multiple event cycles simultaneously while collaborating with marketing, operations, and content teams.
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management via Salesforce.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to support commercial growth.

The ideal candidate

  • 3-5 years' B2B sales experience, ideally within events, media, publishing, or sustainability-related sectors.
  • A proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and building long-term partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisational skills.
  • An interest in sustainability, fashion, textiles, or supply chain transformation.
