Senior Sports Assistant

Salary: on appointment will be £27,869 per annum with an annual increment up to £28,249 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sports Assistant to join the UEA Sportspark.
You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of Sports Assistants and will work as part of a team of four to ensure common procedures and standards are followed and to allocate tasks/duties to individual Sports Assistants.

You will also be responsible for lifeguarding the Pool, supervising and maintaining the indoor and outdoor Dry Side facilities of the complex and ensuring a safe, quality environment for our customers at all times.
This full-time post is available from 7 September 2026 on an indefinite basis.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child and Vulnerable Adult Barred Lists.
