Are you deeply connected in the UK sports industry? Do you have trusted relationships with the brands, sponsors and agencies that regularly commission creative, content and production work in sport? North of Normal is looking for a freelance, commission-only Business Development Partner in the UK — a senior connector who can open doors and create real conversations with sports brands, sponsors and agencies.
The Role
This is not a classic sales role. We're looking for someone who can:
- Make warm introductions to sports brands or agencies you already know
- Create credible initial conversations
- Then step back while we handle strategy, creative, production, and delivery
No pitching decks. No proposals. No account management.

We're a specialist sports creative and production studio, building senior teams around each brief to deliver campaigns and content for brands, clubs and sports organisations internationally.

The Partnership
Commission Only (Uncapped) — a clear commission structure tied to closed work. High-Ticket Projects — typical project sizes range from €25k to €300k+. Fully Remote & Flexible — work as much or as little as you want. Long-Term Focus — a partnership built around relationships, not quick wins. Success is defined by a small number of high-quality introductions that turn into real conversations — not volume or activity. We don't set activity targets and we won't chase you; we're comfortable moving at the pace of trust.
