About Jetstream

Jetstream is a global hospitality technology company that helps Resorts, Property Managers, and Hotels maximize revenue and expand their channel distribution. Our technology platform leverages unparalleled access to market data and provides AI-powered reporting tools that give clients the insights they need to boost visibility, increase bookings, and drive sustainable growth. By combining innovative technology with industry expertise, Jetstream empowers hospitality businesses to reach more guests, optimize their performance, and unlock new revenue opportunities across the short-term rental and travel sectors.

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Staff Accountant to join our UK Finance team on a fixed-term basis, covering a period of maternity leave. Within a collaborative and friendly culture, you'll continually review processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities and improvements, working closely with the Financial Controller. This role supports our corporate entities in Canada, the US, UK, Spain, and Cyprus. We're looking for someone who's resourceful with AI tools and proactively looks for ways to use them to work more efficiently. This is a fully remote position, so you must be self-driven and comfortable managing your own workload. The contract runs approximately 13–14 months, starting October 19, 2026, and you must be able to work within the UK time zone (GMT/BST).

What You'll Do

Reporting – Bookkeeping

  • Review and post bills in Xero using Hubdoc for all five entities
  • Complete bank reconciliations weekly to keep accounts up to date ahead of the weekly pay run

Reporting – Month End Close

  • Post monthly journals for deposits, revenue, payroll, and accruals
  • Complete balance sheet and cash clearing reconciliations

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

How We Use AI in Our Hiring Process

Integrity guides how we do business, including how we hire. Here's exactly where AI fits into our process:

  • AI Notetaking: We use an AI-powered meeting assistant during interviews to record, transcribe, and summarize our conversations. This means your interviewer can stay fully present with you instead of splitting attention between the conversation and taking notes.
  • Global Team Alignment: We're a global team spread across time zones, so these summaries ensure your qualifications and highlights reach the hiring managers and stakeholders involved in hiring decisions.
  • Humans Make the Call: AI may surface data points along the way, but it doesn't make decisions. Your potential is assessed by real people, and the final call on who moves forward always rests with the hiring team.
