Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As a Field Application Engineer for Power Management Systems, you will drive the technical customer relationship with our Datacenter, Computing, and ML/AI customers in EMEA including Israel. This includes technical customer support in the design and evaluation of our products in customer systems, as well as identifying new customer opportunities and winning them together with our Sales and Marketing Teams in close cooperation with the relevant product lines.
- Serve as the first-level technical contact for customers throughout the lifecycle of design and implementation of their systems
- Support customers in system design and during evaluation of our products
- Work proactively on optimized solutions for customer applications together with the global Infineon Team
- Provide on-site and hybrid support for product integration, ensuring functionality and performance
- Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and optimize performance
- Identify new projects at customers in collaboration with specialized distributors and match with the Infineon product portfolio
- Explore innovative application approaches with customer development teams
- Contribute to the development and roadmap of Infineon products tailored to modern Datacenter and Computing systems

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 3+ years in technical application and/or field customer support
- Experience in DC/DC power management and practical knowledge of multiphase PWM controllers, power stages, and integrated Point-of-Loads
- Know-how in 48V server architectures and power conversion, plus system-level application knowledge in AI, Datacom, and Server applications
- Experience in PCB design and in-lab debugging and strong drive with proactive, autonomous behavior and strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Proven team player with excellent communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for customer interaction and working with experienced FAE teams
- Strong interest in new Power Management requirements in the Datacenter and Computing Market, with a careful evaluation of chances and risks and a willingness to go above and beyond
- Fluent in English; German or Hebrew is a plus
