Senior Staff NPI Product Engineer

Insight Global are seeking a Senior Staff NPI Product Engineer for a leading global semiconductor and connectivity technology organisation specialising in analog and mixed-signal solutions, IoT connectivity, wireless communications, and high-speed data infrastructure.

This position requires 4 days onsite per week in Bristol, England.

In this hands-on Product Engineering role, you will play a key part in bringing innovative semiconductor products from design through to high-volume manufacturing. Working across the full product lifecycle, you will collaborate with design, test, validation, reliability, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet performance expectations, achieve manufacturing yield targets, and are successfully released to customers.

You will analyse silicon and manufacturing data, troubleshoot product and test issues, optimise production test solutions, and contribute to yield improvement initiatives. The role also offers the opportunity to influence future product development by providing Design for Testability (DfT) and Design for Manufacturability (DfM) input during the design phase.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
