Are you passionate about delivering a high standard of care and do you have excellent communication skills? If so, this opportunity may be for you.

To apply you must be an experienced nurse who has evidence of looking after haematology and oncology patients. You must be able to work independently and make clear decisions.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Staff Nurse who is dynamic and forward thinking and has 2 years experience of working in an Oncology/ Haematology environment. We are looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our team in ward 201 at The Cancer Centre.

Key Requirements

  • Passion for oncology and haematology.
  • Good knowledge of Oncological and Haematological emergencies.
  • Possession of the SACT passport is essential.
  • Familiarity with the UKONS triage tool.
  • Good understanding of effective patient flow with other emergency portals within the Trust.
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience of leadership.
