Senior Staff Nurse – Cardiology
Location: London, The Harley Street Clinic
Position Type: Full Time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Employment Type: Permanent

We're looking for an experienced Senior Staff Nurse with a background in cardiology to join the highly specialised team at The Harley Street Clinic, rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. Role Responsibilities
Our Cardiology Department provides a wide range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including:
- Electrocardiograms (ECGs)
- Echocardiograms
- Stress echocardiograms
- Bubble studies
- Exercise tolerance tests
- Ambulatory cardiac monitoring
Working alongside leading cardiologists and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in supporting patients through every stage of their diagnostic and treatment journey while continuing to develop your specialist knowledge and leadership skills.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you'll:
- Provide expert nursing care across a varied caseload
- Support the day-to-day running of the department
- Undertake cardiac investigations
- Administer medications
- Monitor patients throughout procedures
- Provide education and reassurance
- Act as a clinical role model for junior colleagues
- Help coordinate the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse to ensure safe, effective, and responsive care for every patient

What You'll Bring
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Recent cardiology nursing experience is essential, with experience working within a cardiac outpatient, diagnostic, or non-invasive cardiology setting
- Confidence supporting and monitoring patients undergoing a range of cardiac investigations and procedures
- Up-to-date Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification
- Ability to recognise and interpret cardiac rhythms is highly desirable
