Calling all A&E superstar nurses

Come and join our phenomenal dedicated teams at St Mary's Hospital Paddington!

We are recruiting nurses with Emergency department experience who want to further their career in a fast-paced, lively and renowned department.

About the Role

We are avid supporters of our whole nursing team and recognise the contribution, motivation and competencies that our Band 6 team bring to every shift.

We also support individuals to improve and develop their leadership and management skills, encouraging them to be fully rounded nurses who bring a large range of skills to our patients’ bedsides from a broad portfolio of experience.

We encourage internal rotations based solely on individual aspirations as well as supporting staff through every step of their emergency care career pathway.

We see the importance in providing the highest standard of care to our patients and therefore encourage our team to take up the opportunities of learning advanced skills, completing the Advanced Life Support course, as well as the Trauma Nursing Core course and our Emergency Capital Nurse course accredited by King’s College London.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the department, supported by the band 7 team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
