Role Overview
Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months post-registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship or equivalent programme
This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
You will be working on the Rehab and Recovery ward. Our comprehensive rehabilitation services provide support for people with complex mental health needs. We align our services with the recommendations of the Joint Commissioning Panel for Mental Health (JCPMH), ensuring our patients are given the highest quality care to enable an appropriate transition back home or into community services, wherever possible.

Located 5 minutes away from Bristol Parkway train station and 10 minutes away from Bristol Temple Meads train station. Nearby motorway network, providing access to the South West, Wales and London.

What you'll be doing
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care to a defined group of patients
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with patients and their families
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Ensuring effective communication with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
Additionally, the role includes:
- Supervising and supporting nursing and healthcare assistant staff
- Acting as Nurse in Charge when required
- Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, medicines management, and professional standards
- Supporting the development of junior staff and student nurses
- Maintaining their own professional development and adherence to the NMC Code and organisational policies
You will join the team on the Rehab and Recovery ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential
- Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months post-registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship or equivalent programme
