Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen on Shakespeare ward at the Harbour for highly motivated and professional RMN to join the wards as band 6 clinical lead. In coming into this role, the successful candidates will join an already established leadership team, and will have the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills in a supportive environment.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent role modelling skills.
- Passion for supporting and developing junior colleagues, including student nurses and preceptors.
- Keen interest in quality improvement projects that can lead to improvements in patient care and staff wellbeing.
- Experience of nursing people with acute mental health needs.
- Experience of providing high-quality supervision.
- Awareness of how to use audit data for improvements.
- Keen to develop skills once in post.
Working Environment
Inpatient wards and units are designed to meet the acute holistic needs of service users and patients and carers, in a recovery-focused environment. This working environment is conducive to staff development and wellbeing. The post holder will support staff members in the assessment, planning, and provision of care in line with national and local nursing and health and safety policy. The post holder will exercise professional accountability and responsibility, demonstrating the use of professional skills, knowledge, and expertise in the provision of high-quality care. There is an expectation that the post holder will utilize research, audit, and enquiry to lead improvements in care.
