Experienced Palliative Care Nurse
We are seeking an experienced palliative care nurse to join the team at our In Patient Unit in Welwyn Garden City. This is a full-time role but will consider part-time - 30 hours per week.
As part of the multi-disciplinary team, you will ensure that the individual care needs of patients are assessed and appropriate care plans developed, providing information, advice, and support to patients, families, and carers. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day running of the shift, monitoring the quality of care, and providing guidance to staff as required under the indirect supervision of the Ward Sister.

Requirements
- Registered nurse with a minimum of 18 months post-registration experience.
- Preferably with experience of working in a specialist palliative care/oncology setting.
- Mentorship/Preceptorship or equivalent, or a willingness to study towards this is essential.
- Good team player, flexible in your approach.
- Ability to work a full range of shifts including Nights, Weekends, and Bank Holidays.
