Senior Biostatistician | Global CRO | UK & Europe | Remote | Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Biostatistician to join a leading global CRO, supporting the delivery of innovative clinical development programmes for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a statistician with 5+ years of clinical trial experience who is ready to take ownership of studies, provide statistical expertise throughout the clinical trial lifecycle, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

The position is fully home-based and can be based in the UK, Poland, Romania, or Bulgaria.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Act as Lead Biostatistician across clinical studies of varying complexity
  • Develop Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and reporting specifications
  • Provide statistical input into CRF design and edit specifications
  • Perform statistical analyses and interpret clinical trial results
  • Review randomisation specifications and dummy randomisation schemes
  • Work closely with Statistical Programming, Data Management, and Clinical teams
  • Ensure statistical deliverables are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines
  • Participate in client meetings and bid defence activities

What We Are Looking For:

  • MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of biostatistics experience within clinical research
  • Experience working across the clinical trial lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methodology and clinical drug development
  • Good understanding of statistical programming practices and procedures
  • Experience developing SAPs and supporting clinical trial reporting
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global teams
