Senior Statistician I & II | Global CRO | UK | Home-Based | Permanent

Due to continued growth and expansion across the UK and Europe, a highly respected global CRO is looking to appoint several Senior Statisticians at both Senior I and Senior II level.

Recognised for its statistical expertise, high-quality delivery and collaborative approach, this is an organisation that invests in talented people and supports them in building successful, long-term careers.

You will take ownership of clinical studies, work closely with clients and cross-functional teams, and benefit from structured training and career-focused development. Whether you are ready to step into a Senior Statistician I position or already operating at Senior II level, you are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the most appropriate opportunity based on your experience.

What you will be doing

  • Provide statistical input across clinical study design, analysis and reporting
  • Contribute to protocol development, sample-size calculations and statistical analysis planning
  • Write and review Statistical Analysis Plans, statistical reports and study documentation
  • Perform statistical analyses and support the interpretation of clinical data
  • Review tables, listings and figures to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Work collaboratively with clinical, programming, data management and other cross-functional teams
  • Support regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with CDISC and relevant industry standards
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvements and the efficient delivery of studies
  • Take increasing ownership of projects and progress towards broader leadership responsibilities

What you will need

  • A master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science or a related discipline
  • At least four years of clinical trial statistics experience within a CRO or pharmaceutical environment
  • Advanced SAS programming skills
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trial design and statistical methodologies
  • Experience contributing to SAPs and clinical study reports
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to take initiative and drive tasks through to completion
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project
