About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Stone Setter to join our workshop team. This key role is responsible for delivering exceptional craftsmanship across jewellery repairs, remodelling, manufacturing and bespoke commissions while upholding our renowned 'Cut Above' standards.

Working closely with the Workshop Manager and wider business teams, you will combine advanced technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting and developing fellow jewellers while ensuring quality, productivity and service standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of stone setting, repairs, remodelling and manufacturing across all precious metals.
- Utilise laser welding, soldering and specialist setting techniques to the highest standard.
- Complete mount-up work, retipping, claw rebuilding, polishing and rhodium plating.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure all work meets company standards.
- Manage gemstone stock and support inventory control.
- Mentor and develop workshop colleagues, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.
- Support workflow planning and deliver productivity, quality and efficiency targets.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Stone Setter, Master Stone Setter or highly experienced Bench Jeweller.
- Expert knowledge of diamond and coloured gemstone setting techniques.
- Extensive experience working with platinum, gold, silver and palladium.
- Advanced laser welding, soldering and jewellery repair skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.

Desirable
- Relevant jewellery qualifications or industry certifications.
- Supervisory or mentoring experience.
- Experience within a luxury jewellery retail or manufacturing environment.
