Senior Store Manager | Luxury Fashion | London
Location: London
Salary: Up to £90,000 + Benefits
We are delighted to be partnering with one of the world's most recognised luxury fashion houses to appoint an exceptional Senior Store Manager for a prestigious flagship location within one of London's leading department stores.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Store Manager to take on significant commercial and leadership responsibility within a complex, high-performing luxury retail environment.
Working closely with the Store Director, the Senior Store Manager will play a critical role in driving commercial performance, developing a high-performing leadership team and delivering an exceptional client experience.
The Senior Store Manager will be a highly visible leader within the business, combining strong commercial awareness with outstanding people leadership and a genuine passion for luxury fashion.
The Role
The Senior Store Manager will work alongside the Store Director to ensure the continued success of the business, supporting the development and execution of commercial strategies while taking ownership of key areas of the operation.
This is not a traditional Store Manager position. The successful Senior Store Manager will have significant influence across commercial performance, client development, people and operational excellence, with the opportunity to develop towards future Store Director-level responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with the Store Director to deliver ambitious commercial and financial objectives.
- Analyse sales performance and key business indicators, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and maximise results.
- Lead, coach and develop a multi-layered management team and wider retail team.
- Take responsibility for the store in the Store Director's absence, ensuring continuity across commercial, operational and people priorities.
- Drive a strong clienteling and CRM culture, supporting the development and retention of high-value client relationships.
- Lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring consistently exceptional standards of client experience.
- Develop clear action plans with management teams to improve KPIs and commercial performance.
- Support recruitment, succession planning and talent development across the business.
- Work closely with CRM, Training, Visual Merchandising, Stock and other specialist functions to deliver a consistent retail strategy.
- Maintain the highest standards of operational excellence, compliance and presentation.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key department-store partners.
- Maintain an excellent understanding of luxury market trends, competitors and opportunities within the local market.
- Represent the brand at relevant client, industry and local events when required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
