The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Senior Strategic Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of Tier 1 Financial Services clients. You'll be responsible for developing trusted executive relationships, driving customer adoption, renewals and expansion, and ensuring our customers achieve measurable business value from Aveni's AI platform.
Working closely with Sales, Customer Success and Product, you'll play a pivotal role in maximising long-term customer value, identifying growth opportunities and representing the voice of the customer across the business.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic Tier 1 Financial Services accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account growth plans aligned to customer objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with executive and C-suite stakeholders.
- Lead commercial renewals, negotiations and expansion opportunities.
- Partner closely with Customer Success to maximise customer adoption and business outcomes.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, helping shape product direction and commercial strategy.
- Identify commercial risks and proactively protect recurring revenue.
- Share market insight on Financial Services, AI and regulatory developments to support business growth.

What You'll Bring
You'll be an experienced enterprise account manager with a passion for building strategic customer relationships and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
You'll ideally have:
- Enterprise SaaS, software or AI account management experience.
- A proven track record of growing strategic customer accounts, driving renewals and increasing customer retention.
- Experience working with large Financial Services organisations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strong commercial negotiation, planning and relationship-building capability.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Nice to Have
- Experience within AI, compliance or regulated technology.
- An established network across UK Financial Services.
- Experience navigating enterprise procurement processes and complex commercial negotiations.
