Senior Strategic Account Manager - Reuters
Want to use your digital media sales experience to deliver branded content campaigns on behalf of one of the world’s most trusted media organisations? If so, this might be the role for you.
Reuters are looking for an experienced Senior Strategic Account Manager with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding annual sales goals to join our fully integrated sales team in London. Here you’ll sell across Reuters’ extensive award-winning platforms including digital display and programmatic, mobile, video, podcasts, vodcasts, custom content, research and event sales. You’ll be part of Reuters Professional, an agile digital publishing business which encompasses Reuters.com and Reuters Plus, our in house custom content studio.

We combine technology/AI and editorial innovation across Reuters.com to deliver a powerful experience to over 50 million monthly users on the web and mobile. Key Responsibilities
As our Senior Strategic Account Manager, you will:
- Managing existing relationships and driving new business for all Reuters media solutions
- Pro-actively pitch new ideas, concepts and solutions to clients and have full coverage across their territory.
- Stay on top of industry trends and understand how Reuters can maximize opportunities in new and emerging areas.
- Provide accurate account management and forecasting
- As the most senior sales leader within EMEA you are expected to be a mentor to your colleagues driving sales excellence and sharing media knowledge and insights, whilst hitting and exceeding targets. This role requires strong leadership skills to support the Head of Digital Sales EMEA and APAC for the EMEA team.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in media sales experience.
- Proven success in selling integrated programs on an international basis.
- A passion for news and journalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Senior decision maker contacts and/or experience selling into; Financial Serivces, Insurance, Tech firms and consulting firms.
- Proven success in selling large value deals to clients direct and in conjunction with their agencies
- Experience working in a collaborative environment that includes Sales, Editorial, Content Studio, Customer Excellence and Marketing.
- A passion for news and journalism
