Job type: Permanent full-time
Location: Banbury, London, Cardiff, or Belfast – you will be contractually based in the office nearest to you with hybrid working.
Hybrid working: You will be able to work from home and come into the office to collaborate with your team(s) when required. We have flexible core hours, and we don’t believe in a culture of presenteeism. We will discuss what is important to you during the recruitment process.
Salary & Benefits: £56,800 + 10% pension, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, 35-hour working week, up to 13 flexi-days, private medical insurance, life assurance, and much more!

The role
As our Senior Strategic Engagement Manager, you will establish, develop and grow strategic relationships with key funders, securing sustainable income and long-term partnerships that support our mission and maximise our impact. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will identify funding opportunities, develop compelling funding proposals, deliver high-quality stewardship and ensure funders remain engaged and inspired by our work.
You will play a key role in shaping and delivering our fundraising strategy, providing regular updates on trends across the funding landscape. You will line manage at least one member of staff and contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture. Working closely with fellow fundraising professionals and multidisciplinary teams, you will be an excellent communicator, a supportive manager and a strong team player.

What are we looking for?
You Will Bring
- A proven track record of securing income from trusts, foundations or other strategic funding partners.
- Significant experience developing and managing successful funding relationships that deliver substantial income growth.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience of producing compelling funding proposals, reports and stewardship communications.
- Strong track record of working collaboratively, demonstrating influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience of managing and developing staff.
