Key Responsibilities
- To provide strategic support and expert Human Resources and Health & Safety governance advice to Scottish Police Authority (SPA) Members, the executive team, and senior officers, as part of a small professional team, in order that the obligations of the Authority are discharged efficiently and effectively.
In this role, you will be working across the breadth of the HR specialism. You will handle a variety of employee relations enquiries, negotiate and build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders daily as well as manage existing relationships across all levels. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of HR governance, as well as showing technical competence.

Within this role, you will have exposure to Executive and Non-Executive members of SPA / Police Scotland. Therefore it is essential that you are able to confidently build strong relationships, whilst negotiating to the best advantage of the organisation.
Working within a small but experienced team, this role would be suitable for experienced HR Business Partners looking to develop their skillset further.
Please note, CIPD experience is essential for this opportunity.
