Job Description
As the Strategy & Transformation Senior Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Global Client Delivery Strategy & Transformation and drive the development and delivery of strategic priorities and transformation initiatives across Alter Domus' global Client Delivery organization.
Working closely with leadership and operational teams in Client Delivery, Technology, Finance, and the lines of business, you will play a key role in translating our long-term plan into practical initiatives, driving operational excellence, business transformation, process optimization, and service delivery enhancements. You will be a front-runner, identifying new opportunities for strategic innovation and improvement, developing pragmatic solutions, standing up new processes and capabilities, building business cases and performing other analyses to support decision-making.
The role requires a broad combination of strategic thinking, structured problem solving, project management, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and change management capabilities. In particular, You will support the organization's focus on innovation, technology adoption, AI, and automation by working closely with cross-functional teams to drive operational effectiveness – or new commercial opportunities – based on data and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Transformation
- Drive the development, definition, prioritization, and implementation of strategic initiatives and transformation programmes across the global Client Delivery organization
- Engage and lead cross-functional working teams to build aligned objectives and proposals, focusing on operational efficiency, scalability, and service excellence
- Influence senior stakeholders across Client Delivery, Technology, Product, Finance, and Lines of Business to build alignment, secure sponsorship, and drive execution of strategic priorities.
- Work closely with operational teams, finance, and other SMEs to develop robust business cases for proposed initiatives to drive prioritisation, secure resources and ensure alignment to our long-term plan.
- Conduct and translate analysis (quantitative & qualitative) into recommendations to inform and lead strategic decision-making and operational improvements
- Lead operating model enhancement, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across delivery locations.

Project Management
- Manage timely and high-quality delivery of projects
- Monitor progress against agreed objectives and escalate issues where appropriate
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive alignment across competing priorities, functions, and geographies.
- Build constructive, collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure high-quality, aligned outcomes.
AI, Automation & Innovation
- Identify clear value creation opportunities for applying AI, automation, technology or data to drive operational efficiency, quality, client experience, or new business.
- Partner with operational and technology teams to shape and scope these initiatives.
- Design and drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and ways of working across the organization.
Performance & Analytics
- Spearhead data-driven decision-making through building quantitative analyses
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities to synthesise insights that shape our future efforts.
- Ensure that all transformation programmes have clear KPIs, measurable outcomes and tracking mechanisms defined as part of the project plan. Collect and monitor early outcomes to help steer direction.
Governance, Risk & Controls
- Define and support governance frameworks that ensure effective oversight of strategic initiatives and transformation programmes.
- Ensure initiatives are in compliance with internal policies, regulatory obligations, and client service commitments.
- Identify potential risks and support the implementation of mitigation plans.
- Promote a culture of risk awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support the organization's commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards.
Experience & Skills
- 8–12 years of experience in strategy, transformation, operations, programme management, consulting, or a related field.
- Experience leading or supporting cross-functional projects and business transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Experience within the Fund Services, Financial Services, Asset Servicing, or related industry preferred.
- Understanding of operational excellence, process improvement, and change management principles.
- Strong self-organizing project management skills.
- Experience working with data, metrics, and performance reporting.
- Understanding of AI, automation, and technology-enabled transformation initiatives is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple cultures and geographies.
- Experience engaging multi-level stakeholders and navigating complex organizational dynamics.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
